Anci & Bella 8 weeks old
After receiving two Vizsla puppies for Christmas in 2005, my partner and I decided we wanted only the best for our new Vizsla puppies so they could live a long, happy, and healthy life. We did a lot of research into dog food, pet shampoos, bedding and pet toys. We were shocked to find that most of the products on the pet market contain chemicals and inferior ingredients in their food, toys and pet shampoos that can make them sick or unhealthy and shorten their lifespan. We also found the same ingredients and chemicals apply to the products we use for ourselves. Keep in mind dogs and cats don't live as long as humans do and the more chemicals they are exposed to the shorter their lifespan will be.
We decided that we were not going to use these products for ourselves or our dogs anymore. We completely changed all of the products we use to be organic or chemical free. We believe in using all organic and chemical free products to protect the planet, our pets, and ourselves. We changed all of our soaps, lotions, deodorant, toothpaste and cleaning products to name a few. We recycle as much as we can and encourage others to do the same whenever the opportunity arises. Even our website hosting company Fat Cow is green. Fat Cow is powered by 100% wind energy.
We started Alamo Organics to encourage an environmentally friendly lifestyle and to bring organic, chemical-free, all natural products to your family and your pets.
